Motel

This map contains many small rooms that are part of the motel. However, these rooms are very difficult to hold out in because of the cramped spacing. The better choice is the more spacious area at the corner of the map by the street.

Positions

  • One player on the right (A)
  • Two players in the middle (B \& C)
  • One player on the left by the gascans (D)

All 4 players are using the military sniper.

Notes

  • Most of the tanks come from the front somewhere, either from the front-right or between the bus and truck cab.
  • The player on the right can see tanks and specials coming from the pool area. The player on the left has a good view of tanks that come from the front-right (where the radio is). Sometimes the tank will be on the right, climbing the fence closest to the right-side player. Tanks coming from the right will throw the more dangerous rocks.
  • Gascans aren't needed until at least after 13 minutes when you start getting lots of double tanks. Try not to light the can unless you see 2 tanks and you aren't sure if you can take them down easily.
  • For the first 12 minutes, it is possible to go for ammo runs at the pile on the ground behind the bus. Safest times to get ammo are at 1:30, 4:00, 6:00, 9:00, 12:00
  • After 12:00, players will have to run the circuit to the ammo pile at the top of the building.
  • It is good to have 2 players using pistols and 2 players using melee weapons. When it's clear of tanks, run the circuit and once you get on top of the building there is an ammo pile you can grab from.
  • It's important not to be slow during these runs and to cover your teammates, don't let anyone fall behind. Once you grab ammo drop down and you should be heading back to your holdout. Hold until you need ammo again, we try to go when we have 30 or less shots left. However, it is hard to not run out of ammo in this spot because tanks keep coming when you try to go for ammo sometimes.
  • If the team has moved the weapons, they can pick up a new gun if the ammo runs are too inconvenient. If your team doesn't move items, then you might want to stick with all 4 players using pistols. Also, the ammo runs will be necessary.
  • This map also has 6 bile jars on it, so use them wisely to run the circuit safely, pick up an incapped player, or to defib someone.
