You can also put custom music while game start by replacing this file:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead/left4dead/sound/UI/gamestartup1.mp3

The mp3 file must have rate 44.1 kHz (CD quality mosty typical value).
